The great outdoors may be one of the most clichéd and overused sayings of all time but there is truly something great about simply getting outside. For us East Coast Canadian folk, we put our hopes in even the faintest hint of a weather heat-up and if all we need is one extra layer, it’s high time to get outside! Several summers ago I made it a point to become a much better local. And in that vein, and aligning myself with a collection of people who do not suffer from my lack of sense of direction, I make a point to say yes to any invite to get out into the woods....
